Description Job Summary : Spearhead a major system upgrade in the Blacktown area with onsite parking.
This leadership position offers genuine influence and a chance to join a multinational engineering business at the forefront of its industry.
About the Role : As the Head of IT, you will lead a team of 4 located in Sydney and interstate.
Reporting to the local Finance Director, you will support the local leadership team and eventually join the executive team.
The technology stack is primarily Microsoft, with plans to migrate to D365 in the near future.
Key Responsibilities : Own the P&L for the IT function, including the submission of the annual operating budget.Prepare and present a comprehensive strategy for the IT function.Act as the subject expert for IT within the business and business partner with key operational stakeholders.Ownership of the IT environment, including all infrastructure, networks, and applications.Ensure adherence to Cyber security policies and procedures.Oversee the delivery of technical IT projects, delivered on time and budget.Manage external supplier relationships and contracts to ensure they are fit for purpose and cost-effective.Review the IT environment and look for opportunities to enhance or modernise IT platforms.About You : You have proven experience leading an IT function, where you have developed the IT strategy.You're a financially astute IT professional who has seen you own your own P&L for the IT function.You're highly effective in the delivery of IT projects and understand popular frameworks such as Agile or Waterfall.You have delivered a complex IT transformation or modernisation program successfully.You're originally from a technical background and are a 'hands-on' style of leader.You're an ambitious and passionate IT leader who brings energy and enthusiasm to your role and your stakeholders.You come from the heavy industry sector, such as engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, or similar.What's in it for you?
