Management Accountant

The Management Accountant will be responsible for providing financial insights that contribute to decision making for an ASX listed mining company.
The role requires the ability to manage and oversee all aspects of the company's accounting and finance operations.
Our client is an ASX company in the Energy & Natural Resources industry.

DescriptionManage month-end processesProduce accurate and timely financial reports for multiple business unitsAssist with annual budget, forecast and life of mine plan.Deliver monthly cost reviews with various business leadersAssist with audit including liaising with external auditorsInvolvement in process improvement and technology implementationProvide strategic financial input and leadership on decision-making issues affecting the companyProfileTo be successful in the role of Management Accountant, you will have the following:
Professional certification (e.g.
CA or CPA)A background in audit preferably for a big four or mid-tier firmProven experience as a Management Accountant in the Energy & Natural Resources industry, ideally an owner-operator companyExcellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting modelsProficiency in accounting software, any experience utilizing planning & reporting tools will be highly regardedA keen eye for detail and a result driven approachAble to travel to site once a month (three days total)Comfortable working in the office Monday to Friday (Flexible start and finish times on offer)Job OfferAn attractive yearly salary ranging from 120,000 to 135,000 plus superThe opportunity to work in a leading company in the Energy & Natural Resources industryA supportive and friendly working environmentOpportunity to travel to site on a monthly basisA range of benefits to support your lifestyle and wellbeingMultiple bonuses on offerWe encourage all qualified individuals who believe they fit the above criteria to apply for this exciting role as a Management Accountant.
