We are looking for a dedicated and professional Asset Management Accountant who has the following skills and experience.
Asset Management Accountant Location: Perth, Australia
Responsibilities
Budgeting Assist in developing the group's CAPEX budget and developing and maintaining Depreciation and Disposal budgets.Variance analysis of month-to-month spending.Reporting Compile end of month Board Reports on capital expenditure.Comply with the group end of month checklist for reporting purposes.Audit Provide sample documents and work papers as required by internal and external auditors.Liaise with Auditors to provide adhoc analysis or reporting as requested.Accounting Assist the Procurement Officer with the capital expenditure approval process as per company policy.WorkcloselywiththeOperations,RegionalFinance andMaintenanceteamoncapital expendituretransactions as they affect the various PPE balance sheet accountsERP and others Update Fixed Asset Policy as required, liaising with Senior Finance personnel on changes to methods and processes in line with Accounting Standards and company policies.Assist in the implementation of the fixed asset module for the new ERP systemRequirements
3-5yearsofrelevantexperienceinAssetAccountingDegree in finance/accounting/businessQualification in accounting (CPA/CA/ACCA)Advance MS Office specifically MS ExcelForecasting and modeling skillsKnowledge & experience of ERP system, Microsoft Dynamics/ACCPAC preferableExperience in mining preferable but not essentialHow do your skills match this job?Sign in and update your profile to get insights.Your application will include the following questions:Which of the following statements best describes your right to work in Australia?
