KBE Legal Talent has been briefed by a leading global critical minerals company with a portfolio of assets across different commodities and jurisdictions to secure a Legal Counsel/Senior Legal Counsel with between 3-6 years' PAE to join their high performing team.This company has established international operations and has an ambitious critical minerals strategy with a key overseas project about to commence the development phase.The legal team has a professional, supportive and collegiate culture and will invest their time in the successful lawyer, providing the support to help them grow within the business.
You will become a valued advisor to the wider business working alongside the Group Legal Manager and Chief Legal Officer (both ex top-tier).
About the role:With no two days the same, you will carry out a wide range of legal work including:
Drafting, reviewing and advising on construction and services contracts.Drafting, reviewing and advising on other contracts, such as mining-related contracts and property contracts.Advising on applicable legislative requirements.Assisting with corporate advisory and M&A work.Assisting with legal disputes from time to time.Providing general advice across the business as needed.You will be joining a team with a high performing culture and pride themselves on being trusted advisors to the business and delivering the best possible service.
Work closely with two senior lawyers that have a genuine interest in your career development and an open-door policy.
You will be provided with the support and training you need and also be given autonomy to run your own matters.
This role offers a competitive salary with free parking and a dedicated working from home day.
Who we are looking for:The ideal lawyer would have a growth mindset, be willing to learn in a dynamic environment, and kick goals for the team/business.
We want to speak to driven lawyers with 3-6 years' experience with either a front-end construction, projects, mining, resources or corporate/M&A background from a market leading top-tier law firm or from an in-house team.
Candidates slightly under or over this PAE level will also be considered.
