About the role Mater Health Services has a great opportunity for a Guest Services Assistant to join our Hotel Services team.
This is a casual role based in Mater's South Brisbane Campus.
The positions will work to a rotating roster across 7 days of the week, with shifts rostered to meet the operational requirements of the department.
Perform tasks as scheduled in various areas of the hospital and provide support within the Guest Service team to ensure safe, efficient cleaning and guest service to Mater Patients.
Your duties will include but are not limited to:
Functions as part of a team that ensures delivery of guest service activities to Mater Health Services is completed within required time frames and at the highest standardUnderstand and work towards achieving all guest service related key performance indicators across all Mater facilitiesStrive to maintain a friendly and cheerful demeanour at all times while on duty to support our patientsAdhere to all policies, procedures, guidelines and work instructions relevant to guest servicesAdhere to strict cleaning guidelines at all timesAdhere to all health, hygiene and safety guidelines and report any health and safety risks (including near misses) and equipment failures in a timely manner to your SupervisorComplete 3 stage Deprox clean using appropriate Deprox machinery in a safe manner in line with guest services guidelinesRespect guests' rights and the confidentiality of all matters relating to guests, patients, their families and other staffIdentify and log maintenance items as requiredMater is Queensland's largest and most innovative not-for-profit healthcare service, providing care for almost 700,000 patients a year across a network of 11 hospitals.
