About the RoleTRONOX, is recruiting for a Reliability - Mechanical Engineer for a permanent position at our Mineral Separation Plant in Muchea just north of Perth.
The successful candidate will monitor maintenance systems and production detractors, making data-driven change that consistently moves the Business and Maintenance Department towards improving asset performance and cost savings.
Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you will be responsible for:
Leading reliability improvement within the Maintenance team.Analysing the performance of operating assets and delivering long term asset improvement.Contributing to statutory compliance of regulated equipment as well as providing technical expertise in support of maintenance activities on the site.Reviewing and implementing improvements to the sites' maintenance strategies.Supporting the maintenance team as required for sustaining capital projects.Facilitating change within the team, helping and coaching maintenance personnel to improve strategies and eliminate inefficiencies from the maintenance processes.Improving asset operational time through Asset Management, Condition Monitoring, Defect Elimination, Root Cause Analysis, Managing Machine Health Programs.Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives and operational excellence programs.About YouTo be successful in this role you will ideally possess:
Bachelors Degree in Engineering (Mechanical) or other closely related field.3-5 Years experience in a mechanical reliability engineering or a related field.Knowledge of condition monitoring techniques for rotating and fixed assets.Competence in using reliability software and SAP.Advanced investigative and problem-solving skills.The following experience would be highly advantageous to your application:
Previous experience in a mineral sands or manufacturing environment.Experience with managing the maintenance of refractory lined kilns/vessels.Experience with planned and unplanned shutdowns.Working knowledge of applicable Australian standards.Proven skills in condition monitoring techniques.We OfferA competitive salary and benefits package including:
