Encompassing an engaged digital subscriber base, Australia's bestselling wine magazine, an award-winning website, monthly Wine Club and regular events, Halliday ensures that our community never drinks a bad bottle of wine again.
We now have an outstanding opportunity within the Halliday team (Melbourne) for a savvy, proactive and creative Media Sales Manager.
This position is responsible for securing advertising and sponsorship opportunities across all media assets (print, digital, sponsorship, and future developments).
Reporting to the Commercial Director, the Media Sales Manager will play a pivotal role in achieving advertising targets by creating bespoke, cross-selling proposals for clients in industries including wine, travel, hospitality and retail.
Responsibilities will include:Developing and executing strategic sales plans to secure advertising partnerships across all Halliday media assets to achieve advertising and sponsorship revenue targetsIndependently creating and presenting customised client proposalsCultivating strong and lasting relationships with existing and prospective Halliday advertising partners, ensuring a regular virtual and in-person call cycleOverseeing commercial activities within a designated client areaCollaboration with internal teams (Content, Marketing, Product, Design) to ensure successful campaign executionPreparing campaign analysis reports and presentationsPartnering with the Commercial Director to identify and develop new revenue streams, ongoing.About you:Our ideal candidate is an experienced and passionate senior media salesperson with a proven history of developing and driving successful revenue-generating outcomes in a similar cross-selling environment.
With a keen ability to develop a sustained and genuine understanding of their client's goals, the successful candidate will have a collaborative approach and exceptional stakeholder relationship skills to ensure successful advertising campaign objectives are met.
