Disability Support Worker - West GladstoneCare1 is currently seeking enthusiastic and reliable team members to provide high-quality disability and care support to a care recipient based in West Gladstone Qld.
We are an organisation that hires for attitude and provides fully funded training to the right people to develop the right skills for what we do.

9am to 11am - Monday to Friday

This may include:
Domestic assistance: light housework (cleaning, laundry and meal preparation)Supporting clients who use personal equipment/aid, this may include walking or standing frames, wheelchairs, hoistsMonitoring the well-being of clients and reporting on their progressMinimum Requirements: Right to Work in Australia such as passport, visa, birth certificateCurrent valid driver's license and reliable vehicleFirst Aid Certificate or willingness to obtain before employmentNDISWCWorking with Children CheckExperience working with clients who display challenging and complex behavioursExperience providing complex personal careCertificate III or IV in Individual Support, Disabilities or similar is desirable (willingness and the ability to obtain is essential)Previous healthcare or community welfare experience is an advantage along with a genuine desire to support people to live a higher quality of life will be highly regarded.Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people are strongly encouraged to apply.
