The Local is seeking a motivated, hands-on Venue Manager who thrives on autonomy and is excited to join a close-knit, collaborative team.
Located in the bustling heart of Surfers Paradise, The Local is an iconic Aussie pub known for its warm atmosphere, cold beers, hearty pub fare, and vibrant live sports scene.
Famed for its award-winning "Best Parmy," The Local has built a reputation as the go-to spot for both tourists and locals looking to unwind in a welcoming, laid-back environment.
As the Venue Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the hotel.
You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of operations, fostering strong relationships with team members, patrons, and local suppliers, and maintaining a commitment to delivering exceptional experiences.
What's on Offer: Generous Salary $80,000k - $85,000k plus SuperQuarterly KPI Bonus $44,000Discount across 200+ venues in Aus/NZRelocation assistance available for the right candidateOpportunity to be part of a professional and well-known hospitality teamAutonomous role with excellent company supportExceptional team cultureKey Responsibilities: 2+ years of Management experience in a similar venueWork with and communicate effectively with all departments within the Central Support teamUnderstanding and ability to learn venue reporting and systems on a daily, weekly, and monthly basisP&L understanding and ability to deep dive into financials to analyse where there is an opportunity to grow your businessAbility to generate revenue-building ideas throughout all aspects of the businessPresence on the floor during peak service periods, including late nights and weekendsWrite and control an effective rosterAbility to stocktake and investigate stock lossHave a market awareness and trend analysis relevant to food and beverage in the areaBe able to implement and execute promotions throughout the business successfullyHold a current RLMV & Approved Managers licenseWe value the diversity of our employees' experiences, talents, and cultures.
