Are you a highly experienced Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) professional seeking an exciting new opportunity?
We are looking for an exceptional HSE Manager to join our dynamic team at Locale Civil in West Melbourne, Victoria.
This is a full-time role where you will play a vital part in maintaining and enhancing the company's strong health, safety and environmental standards.
What you'll be doing Developing, implementing and continuously improving HSE policies, procedures and ensuring they are implemented on site and understood by all employeesConducting risk assessments, incident investigations and audits to identify and mitigate potential hazardsProviding expert advice and training to all staff on HSE mattersCollaborating with project managers and site teams to embed a proactive safety cultureMonitoring and reporting on HSE performance metrics to drive continuous improvementRepresenting the organisation in dealings with regulatory bodies and other key stakeholdersWhat we're looking for Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science or a related field5+ years' demonstrated experience as an HSE Manager or similar role in the construction industryComprehensive knowledge of relevant HSE legislation, regulations and best practicesExcellent communication, interpersonal and stakeholder management skillsStrong problem-solving, analytical and decision-making capabilitiesProficient with HSE data management and reporting systemsWhat we offer Competitive salary and work vehicle providedOpportunities for professional development and career advancementGreat company cultureAbout us Locale Civil is a leading construction firm specialising in civil construction projects across Victoria.
