Job Title: Consultancy Manager - Renewable Energy Location: Brisbane, Australia Company: The company is a global leader in engineering consultancy, particularly within the renewable energy sector.
They excel in providing specialized technical advisory services, encompassing technical, environmental, financial, and contractual aspects of renewable energy projects.
Its core objective is to enhance client profitability while effectively managing project risks through innovative and high-value solutions.
Position Overview: We are seeking a highly experienced consultant to join their Brisbane team.
The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of experience in engineering consulting with a strong focus on technical advisory for renewable energy projects.
This role requires a deep understanding of technical due diligence and the renewable energy market in Australia.
Key Responsibilities: Technical Advisory: Lead and provide expert technical advisory for renewable energy projects, including solar, wind, and BESS.
Evaluate project feasibility, performance, and risks.
Technical Due Diligence: Conduct comprehensive technical due diligence, including project design, engineering assessments, and risk analysis to ensure project viability and compliance with industry standards.
Market Insights: Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the Australian renewable energy market, including key players, regulatory environment, and market trends.
Client Engagement: Engage with clients to understand their needs, provide strategic advice, and deliver high-quality consulting services tailored to their specific projects.
Project Leadership: Oversee and manage multiple projects, ensuring timely delivery of consultancy services and adherence to project budgets and timelines.
Team Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams to leverage expertise and resources, ensuring a cohesive approach to project execution and client support.
Business Development: Contribute to business development efforts by identifying new opportunities, preparing proposals, and building relationships with potential clients and industry stakeholders.
Qualifications: Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in engineering consulting with a strong focus on technical advisory for renewable energy projects such as solar, wind, or BESS.
Technical Expertise: In-depth knowledge of technical due diligence processes and methodologies for renewable energy projects.
Market Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of the Australian renewable energy market, including major players, regulatory requirements, and industry trends.
Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
A Master's degree or higher qualification is preferred.
Skills: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
Leadership: Proven ability to lead and manage projects and teams effectively.
Client Relations: Experience in client-facing roles with a track record of building and maintaining strong client relationships.
