With a strong focus on small to medium-sized enterprises, they provide practical, hands-on guidance to promote compliance and foster safer workplaces.THE ROLE This opportunity will see you lead a team of consultants across Queensland and Western Australia, coaching and mentoring them to reach their full potential. You will provide hands-on technical and practical advice and support across a geographically dispersed team. Collaborate with the broader organisation and key stakeholders across Australia to identify trends and explore opportunities for service growth with a commercial focus.Key Responsibilities:Provide expertise on health and safety within the team and across the business.Improve service quality through quality assurance reviews, training, and coaching.Identify trends and collaborate on solutions to boost utilisation and engagement.Lead continuous improvements within the H&S team.Support the team with client-facing duties as needed.Recruit, engage, and retain top talent.EXPERIENCE FOR SUCCESSTertiary qualifications in Health and Safety or a related discipline.Experience in a health and safety management role, with a focus on coaching and mentoring.Experience working in medium to high-risk environments.Strong relationship-building skills to support, coach, and influence effectively.Proven communication and interpersonal skills to engage with employees at all levels, from consultants to senior leaders.A proactive approach to finding efficiencies and improvements, fostering a culture of continual improvement.APPLY At The Safe Step we embrace individuality and differences in gender, age, ethnicity, race, cultural background, disability, faith and sexual orientation.
