Full time ongoing position (part-time considered) based in Notting HillSalary range: $90,000 - $100,000 plus super plus salary packagingUp to $15,900 in salary packagingAbout the role
St John Ambulance Victoria are seeking an experienced Senior Manager – Business Development & Event Support who will be responsible for driving new business opportunities in all aspects of the events sector in Melbourne and Victoria within our Volunteer & Event Health Services (VEHS) with a focus on community, major events & venues.
Your responsibilities will include overseeing and guiding the business development & event support team, focusing on revenue generation, cost management, and general business deliverables.
You will provide managerial support to the team while promoting inclusiveness and respect.
As our ideal candidate, you will possess: Extensive experience in sales and/or major account management within a customer service or service delivery environment, preferably within the event, hospitality, or service sectorsDemonstrated experience managing and nurturing teamsStrong commercial acumen, account management, consultative selling, and negotiation skillsAdvanced financial literacy and business acumenExcellent customer service and stakeholder management skillsAbility to recommend improvements to positions or services providedExcellent communication & presentation skillsFull driver's licenseAbout St John Ambulance Victoria
