About the role
As our General Manager, Corporate Services , you'll be leading a team providing finance, administration, and technology services to the ADA.
This is an essential leadership position working closely with the Board to support our strategic plan, provide data and analysis to inform decision making and contribute to ADA's future sustainability.
In your new role you'll:
Lead a team managing the finance, administration, facilities management, and IT services for ADA.
Manage the ADA's financial position and investment portfolio, ensure accounting standards are met, and reporting and analysis meet our needs.
Work closely with selected ADA committees to ensure governance requirements are met and to support informed decision making.
Work with a range of stakeholders including the Board and Committees, vendors, service providers, regulators, and ADA state branches to ensure ADA meets its compliance obligations and delivers the outcomes our members expect.
Manage our risk framework and reporting program.
Oversee information technology strategy, security, and infrastructure to ensure our systems are fit for purpose.
Develop and implement a procurement process and framework to support the selection and delivery of services to ADA and its members.
Manage the capital works plan to optimise the use of assets and funds.
What you'll bring:
A successful track record in a similar role, preferably in a membership association.
Exceptional leadership and stakeholder management skills and experience.
A robust understanding of operational accounting and information technology.
Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field (Business, Accounting).
The ability to think strategically and translate strategy to action.
A commitment to and demonstrated success in continuous process improvement.
Sound analytical skills and the ability to guide data-driven decision making.
We'd love it if you already have:
Experience implementing and embedding risk frameworks.
Agility and experience leading change or transformation programs.
Skills in project management governance and delivery.
The ability to build and enhance capability to meet future needs.
