Downer is seeking an experienced Contract Delivery Manager for our Skilltech business unit located in Perth WA.

Our Energy & Utilities business provides end-to-end facilities management and asset lifecycle support services for Australia's critical economic infrastructure.
Operating across the future energy, power generation, oil and gas and industrial sectors, we work closely with our customers to optimise the reliability, efficiency and whole of life costs of their assets and facilities.
About the Role
An opportunity has become available for a Contract Delivery Manager for Skilltech, a division within the Downer Group reporting into the WA Operations Manager.
The Contract Delivery Manager position will be assigned to our Meter Exchange contract.
The successful individual will envision themselves attending to duties such as:
Coordinate and manage a team of Electricians, Supervisors, Sub-contractors and office employees to ensure that we are meeting our clients' requirements and deliverablesAdhere to safety, quality, scheduling, and budget controls whilst following all client and Downer company requirements and policy guidelinesFinancial forecasting and actively support to operate the financial performance of the contractReconciliation for Schedule of RatesYou get to run this contract as you see fit with the guidance and support of the Leadership teamAbout You
The ideal candidate will possess:
People manager with a problem-solving mindset to drive improvement of productivity and deliveryProven contract management/operations experience across an office and field-based workforceElectrical background / trade certification preferredStrong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholdersExcellent numeric skills with the ability to prepare and present detailed reportsExperience with financial forecasting is essentialAdvanced Microsoft Excel Skills (pivots, data analysis etc)Hold a strong Commercial acumenWhat We Offer
