About the Opportunity We're seeking an experienced Planning Manager to join our client's property and development team in Brisbane.
This crucial role focuses on managing planning, approvals, and tenure for their sites across Queensland, Western Australia, and the Northern Territory.

While the role offers flexibility, it requires a commitment to regional travel and site visits to work directly with local authorities and stakeholders.
About the role Regional Planning Management: Lead planning activities across assets in Southeast Queensland, regional Queensland, Western Australia, and the Northern Territory Consultant Coordination: Engage and oversee external consultants to meet specialized planning requirements and ensure timely project approvals.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Act as the main liaison with state and local governments, negotiating approvals that align with strategic objectives.
Application & Submissions : Prepare and submit development applications (DAs), clearing permits, and other relevant documentation to support asset protection and growth.
Team Collaboration: Partner with internal teams, including town planners, engineers, and specialists, to achieve project milestones and goals.
About You: Planning Expertise: Solid experience in town planning (knowledge of the extractive industry is advantageous but not mandatory).
Regulatory Knowledge: Strong understanding of development applications, regulatory processes, and permit acquisition.
Strong Communicator: Proven ability to engage with diverse stakeholders, coordinate external teams, and influence successful outcomes.
Proactive Approach: A hands-on mindset with a collaborative attitude, ready to work as part of a dynamic and cross-functional team.
