About the Role The Inventory Assistant Department Manager role exists to maintain optimal performance across all inventory tasks within the Automated CFC.
This role will support the Inventory Control Manager to lead, manage, and support the Inventory teams across the Automated CFC to ensure accurate inventory and ensure customer orders can be picked in full and on time.
This role will lead the Inventory team in the absence of the Inventory Control Manager.
As a part of creating a safe working environment, all candidates for this role can expect to undergo a pre-employment medical check as part of the recruitment process.
What You'll Do Manage the Inventory operations within your shift by coaching & supporting all teams through Inbound, replenishment and inventory tasks to ensure customers receive their orders in full.Demonstrate sound Fresh Food knowledge across our Production areas and a commitment to quality and fresh product.Ensure the continual review, improvement and maintenance of operational and compliance activities to drive efficiency, service, safety, engagement, value, and manage all cost and expense areas.Achieve accurate inventory controls across the Automated CFC.Support the onboarding of new team members to ensure adequate training is provided (including manual handling).What You'll Bring Ability to coach, motivate and inspire a large team to stretch their capabilities and unleash their potential.Knowledge of Online order fulfilment processes and systems.Remain composed under pressure to deliver results whilst maintaining leadership profile.Communicate information and ideas to the team in a clear and focused way that is understood by team members and achieves outcomes.Financial acumen and ability to analyse information, identify trends and prioritise issues, then make effective decisions and deploy resources as needed.Ability to coordinate a diverse range of tasks and deliver a positive result.Computer literate.Effective written and verbal communication skills.What You'll Experience Team discounts across our range of Woolworths Group brands.A global business with endless career possibilities.A range of programs to help you prioritise and manage your wellbeing, including a competitive leave policy and 24/7 access to the Sonder app.Everyone Belongs at Woolworths Group Diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging are key to realising our purpose of better together for a better tomorrow.
