About the role:
We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated person to join our Buronga based maintenance team.
Reporting to the Winery Operations Engineer, this position plays a key role in ensuring AVL products are packaged to the highest possible standard.
Locate electrical faults and repair and maintain all electrical componentry of plant, machinery, and equipment.
Perform preventative maintenance on electrical systems and equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation.
Management of breakdowns.
Management of PLC technology.
To control electrical parts inventory including parts ordering.
Maintain electrical standards to AS3000 and recommend plant, machinery and equipment upgrades as appropriate.
Test & Tag Support and maintain compliance with Australian Standards and recommend upgrades as appropriate.
We are looking for:
A suitably qualified person with an A Grade Electrical licence , with a minimum of 3-years industry experience.
You will be a team player with a positive, self-motivated, and proactive attitude and embody our organisational values of working collaboratively, innovation, nimble and responsive, and empowered.
You will possess strong communication skills - both written and verbal, have a high attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and the flexibility to work extra hours and perform ad hoc duties as and when required.
EWP and Forklift licences are desirable.
