Residential Aged Care Funding (AN-ACC) Assessor - ACTAustralian Healthcare Associates (AHA) is Australia's largest specialist health and human services consultancy.

The role As part of a team of experienced aged care professionals, your role will involve visiting aged care facilities to assess residents using the Australian National Aged Care Classification (AN-ACC) assessment tool.
Living in or around the ACT area, you will undertake AN-ACC assessments at residential aged care homes across the ACT on behalf of the Department of Health and Aged Care.
These visits require travel within the ACT with the potential for overnight stays for more remote facilities.
Comprehensive training and support will be provided (no prior knowledge of the AN-ACC assessment tool is required).
Applicants who have been trained as AN-ACC assessors or currently work as AN-ACC assessors will be considered favourably.
On offer: Highly attractive salary – $104,550 salary p.a.
+ 11.5% super (FTE)Permanent PT positionHours: Monday to Friday - 9am to 5pmFull training provided in the use and application of the new assessment toolAll technical equipment including laptop and phoneReimbursement of travel expensesRequired: 5+ years of experience as a RN, Physio or OT in the aged care sector.Valid driver's license and reliable car.Flexible attitude and ability to adapt to changing environment or circumstances.Willingness to travel to regional/remote facilities.Able to work unsupervised within a diverse and widely located team.Meet all Department of Health and Aged Care Vaccination requirements.If you have the skills and experience and are interested in working with us, then we'd like to hear from you now.
