We have a fantastic permanent opportunity with our highly esteemed state government client in their Strategy and Governance Division.
We're on the hunt for an energetic and innovative AO8 Manager, Communications and Engagement.As the AO8 Manager, Communications and Engagement, you'll be the maestro orchestrating state-wide engagement and education activities.
Your mission?
To connect, inspire, and inform a diverse range of stakeholders, including government bodies, peak organisations, advocacy groups, and social services sector representatives.
Plus, you'll be the creative force behind the development and promotion of public content.Key Responsibilities:Lead a team across community education, engagement and events, public relations, and communications, including internal, digital, creative, and government writing, and planning.Execute and report on sophisticated national, state-wide, and targeted campaigns and education initiatives.Implement the organisation's engagement and community education strategies, including the design and development of supporting plans and policies (social media, engagement and events, advertising, and marketing).Manage professional relationships with key stakeholders to enhance collaboration and distribution of key messaging.Stay updated with best practices in communications, engagement, and education to identify new opportunities and maintain measurement and reporting systems.Manage day-to-day team expenses and reporting.Contribute to a positive and safe work environment by modelling culturally capable, inclusive, respectful, and ethical conduct.Ensure the safety and well-being of yourself and others.Perform other duties as required.Qualifications:Excellent communication skills.Hands-on management and implementation skills.Ability to demonstrate Vision, Results, and Accountability in accordance with the competencies of the Team Leader stream of the LC4Q framework.Details of any visa conditions if you are not an Australian citizen or do not have permanent residency status.If this sounds like you, apply before the 16th of January or contact Aaliyah at ****** for more information.Seniority levelMid-Senior levelEmployment typeFull-timeJob functionMarketing, Public Relations, and Strategy/PlanningIndustriesGovernment Administration, Housing and Community Development, and Public Policy Offices
