The Client:

They manage a diverse portfolio of properties and are committed to maintaining high standards in asset management and service delivery.

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Asset Officer to play a critical role in managing and optimizing the organization's asset portfolio.
In this position, you will oversee asset tracking, maintenance, and performance analysis to ensure efficient utilization and compliance with all legislative, regulatory, and contractual obligations.

Key Responsibilities: Maintain accurate records of property assets, including inventory tracking and condition assessments.
Coordinate and manage various asset management programs and activities to support strategic maintenance objectives.
Conduct regular inspections and diagnose defects, coordinating repairs and maintenance efficiently.
Prepare, oversee, and audit planned, cyclical, and vacant maintenance programs.
Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and internal policies while monitoring contractor performance against agreements.
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to implement best practices and enhance service delivery.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and client outcomes.
Key Requirements: Relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent experience in the residential construction or asset management sector.
Demonstrated experience managing legislative maintenance requirements and a strong understanding of building compliance and safety standards.
Proven project management skills with a focus on achieving results on time and within budget.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage and coordinate with multiple contractors and stakeholders.
A proactive mindset with strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Current Queensland Driver's License and Construction Induction White Card.
