About us: Across Australia, Just Better Care provides in-home aged care and disability support services, supporting people to live independently. For over 15 years, we have been supporting older people and people living with disabilities to live independently in their own homes and stay connected to their local community.
Our friendly, compassionate, and experienced team makes this possible.
Duties and responsibilities include: Personal care: showering, dressing, grooming, and medication assistanceSocial support/transportation for social activities, shopping/groceries, travelling to medical appointmentsDomestic assistance: light household cleaning, laundry, and meal preparationSupporting customers in the use of aids and personal equipmentSupporting customers with complex and/or challenging needsMonitoring the well-being of customers and reporting on their progressProvide updates on customer progress following each serviceAbout you: Good interpersonal skills & written/verbal communication skillsAbility to build rapport & good working relationshipsComfortable using technology (i.e., mobile app) for accessing rosters & recording customer notes/feedbackWhat you will need: NDIS Worker Screening ClearanceCriminal Record CheckCurrent First Aid certificate/CPRCurrent Australian Drivers LicenseReliable, registered, and insured vehicleSmartphone with internet accessCertificate III or IV in Aged Care, Home & Community Care, Individual Support, or Disability ServicesNext steps: If you would like to join our growing team and become part of our friendly, professional network, please apply today by clicking on "Apply".
