Veriu Macquarie Park, our flagship 184-key apartment hotel, is opening soon, and we're on the lookout for a Night Manager to ensure the smooth operation of the hotel overnight.
This is your chance to be at the forefront of our night operations, setting the standard for exceptional service and flawless execution during the overnight hours.
As a Night Manager, you'll work independently to oversee the hotel's nightly operations.
You'll be responsible for ensuring all systems run smoothly overnight.
You'll act as the point of contact for any guest needs or issues that arise while also completing reconciliations and reporting required by the night audit function.
Additionally, you'll manage and support the performance of the Night Auditor, who will take over on your days off, ensuring continuity of service and a seamless transition between shifts.
Your role is critical in making sure the hotel operates efficiently during the night, and you'll play a key part in upholding our high standards of service, even while most of the world sleeps.

ResponsibilitiesReporting to the General Manager, you'll be part of a small team of genuine people, looking to create lasting memories and exceptional experiences for each and every guest.
No day will be the same, but each day you'll strive to:
Smooth and consistent management of the night audit function, including audits, reports and reconciliationsManagement of the front office overnight, including late check-ins, complaint handling, problem-solving, remote guest support, security, and support for our after-hours support centreSmooth collaboration of the night team with the wider night and day teamsTraining and escalation support for other night teamsDelivery of high levels of guest services in all interactionsSafe and professional management of emergency situationsProvide support and assistance to the General Manager in higher-level hotel management and admin tasksYou'll be someone looking for a long-term career with a growing, Australian-owned hotel group.

The successful person must have:
