The role: We are seeking a talented and motivated Software Engineer to join our dynamic engineering product team at oOhmedia to help build out the next generation of oOhmedia's products based on an event driven architecture (EDA).
We adopt a serverless first approach, primarily using the tech stack golang, Nodejs for backend services and svelte / react for frontend.
You will be applying DORA identified best practices to ensure our CI / CD, security and testing processes enable you to deliver high quality, maintainable software solutions.
In order to be successful for this role: Proactive and self-driven engineer with creative and critical thinking who can work autonomously.
Ability to collaborate and work effectively with cross-functional teams to understand requirements, provide technical insights, and deliver robust solutions.
Easy going communicator with well-developed empathy instincts.
Can do attitude with respect for deadlines.
Ability and desire to learn new technologies and patterns.
Ability to stay focused on business goals.
Technical skills required: Experience in Typescript / Nodejs.
SQL (Postgres) and NoSQL databases (DynamoDB / MongoDB).
Experience in Event Driven Architecture and serverless patterns.
Experience with AWS services using Infrastructure as code.
Experience with front-end frameworks such as React, Vue, or Svelte.
Understanding of CI / CD practices.
