Sensor Dynamics is a privately-owned company with over 20 years experience in providing Vehicle Identification (VID) Systems for law enforcement, traffic, parking and access control applications.
We provide large scale fixed and mobile systems as well as custom software solutions designed to client specifications.

About the role This role offers exposure to a diverse range of challenging projects, exciting technologies, and the opportunity to work with many talented people in a growing company.
This role requires someone with knowledge and experience in testing a wide variety of products developed using a collection of technologies.
It will also require excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to prioritise and complete work under occasional pressure due to deadlines or customer requests.
This includes both on-prem and cloud software developed primarily using a Microsoft tech stack.
You must have held a senior role in this capacity and have experience in mentoring and supporting juniors to be considered for this opportunity. Duties & Responsibilities This role will include a variety of tasks including the following:
Test and break thingsCreate and execute test cases for complex use casesPrioritise and track defects and other artifacts using JIRA and TestRailProvide clear and concise defect reportingLiaise with the product development team and business analysts to understand new product requirementsManage test cases with requirements traceabilityPrepare and maintain test data including the use of data mining techniques to extract relevant data for test casesIdentify and escalate (where appropriate) testing risks, impediments and issuesTake responsibility for testing of major changes in functionalityFunction and contribute to Agile practices to support continuous improvement in a self-managed teamIdentify process improvements across systems to improve operations and performanceFunction as the 'custodian of all things quality' for all productsTesting of software deployments on customer sitesCompile and maintain test and other related documentationConduct training with internal and external customersAssist the operations team with technical 3rd level support when requiredSkills and Experience The ideal applicant will be able to hit the ground running and have familiarity with all things testing.
You will have demonstrable experience with the following:
At least 5 years current experience in software testingDetailed knowledge of test methodologies and execution conceptsExperience with different types of testing including System, Integration, Functional, UAT and Regression testingWorking knowledge on Postman for API testingWorking knowledge on Microsoft SQL ServerUnderstanding of web-based user interfaces and verification techniquesAbility to analyse and document business, system, and testing requirementsHands on experience with JIRAAbility to perform complex technical test activities and problem solvingExcellent attention to detail and analytical skillsExperience testing complex integrations with 3rd party systemsProven ability to work to deadlinesExperience working in an agile environmentAbility to work in a fast-paced customer-centric environment and deliver immediate valuePrepared to support the establishment of new processes within the QA and development teamBonus Points Candidates with the following skills will seriously stand out:
