About the role We're seeking a Senior Test Analyst to support Transurban's Customer Platforms TCoE by delivering high-quality testing deliverables for projects and BAU work.
The role involves hands-on testing, test lead activities for minor projects, and contributing to the maturity of our test automation capability.

Day-to-day, you will: Liaise with Test Lead/Test Manager to engage in testing activities (Agile/Hybrid Model).
Document, implement, monitor, and enforce all testing processes and procedures according to the standards defined within the Enterprise Test Strategy.
Analyse business requirements or user stories and keep track of requirement changes.
Identify scope of testing and test approach, both functional and non-functional.
Contribute to test planning deliverables, including Test Strategy and Test Plan.
Prepare Test Planning deliverables, including Test Plans and Test Scenarios.
Meet team targets.
Review test assets (test cases and conditions) prepared by junior test members.
Communicate status to stakeholders through effective reporting processes.
Implement Test Preparation and Test Execution activities.
Ensure content and structure of all test deliverables are consistent with TCoE QA standards, well-documented, and maintained.
Manage defects and follow through to conclusion.
Arrange resources for test setup, e.g., hardware and software (access to systems).
Produce Test Summary Reports.
Encourage best practice processes by all team members.
Support the business during UAT planning and execution.
Support Quality Engineering strategy and processes and develop automation skills using a low-code automation toolset.
This role will suit someone with a curious mind and transferrable skills and experiences, including: Tertiary education - Bachelor of Computing/Engineering/Science/Technology or equivalent full-time industry experience.
Minimum 7 years experience in Test Analyst/Integration Test Analyst role on large complex transformation projects.
Possess in-depth experience in all areas of the SDLC/STLC.
Strong software testing background with experience in all test levels.
Experience working with Agile/Waterfall/Hybrid methodologies.
Extensive integration testing experience with several 3rd parties & co-dependent systems.
Experience in the testing of complex integrated platforms (Tolling Onboarding; Transactional, Customer & Billing, Payments and Collections, Digital applications and platforms) or similar technologies.
Experience in defect management.
Experience in testing APIs and use of XML and JSON data inputs.
Experience in cloud testing.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent reporting skills.
Experience working with testing tools and technology ALM, JIRA/Confluence, qTEST.
Test lead experience - managing a small team of junior test analysts.
Highly regarded: Certified ISTQB or equivalent.
Experience across the Financial Services, Utilities, or Telecommunication industries.
Experience working with Tolling platforms, CC&B, Digital applications and platforms, Salesforce, GTV, MuleSoft, and AWS.
Knowledge and/or experience with automation tools such as Tosca or SoapUI/ReadyAPI, Selenium.
