At Rail Control Systems Group (RCSG) we are delivering the rail networks of the future.
We are currently looking for a Financial Analyst who thrives in a multifaceted role and is ready to take on a broad range of responsibilities.
As part of our finance team, you will not only handle traditional financial analysis but also integrate financial systems, optimize business processes, and support decision-making across the organization.
Your role will offer a perfect mix of financial management , reporting , and cross-functional collaboration , giving you the chance to work with the latest SAP technology while impacting key business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial & Management Accounting : Manage general ledger entries, monthly and annual closings, and ensure accurate financial statements in accordance with accounting standards.
Prepare reports for internal management and stakeholders.
Reporting : Use SAP Business ByDesign to create insightful financial and management reports.
You'll transform data into clear, actionable insights for decision-making at all levels of the organisation.
System Integration : Ensure integration with SAP Business ByDesign and other business systems are seamless in terms of data flow.
Financial Process Improvement : Identify areas for improvement and automation within financial and reporting systems, optimizing workflows and enhancing data accuracy.
Cross-Functional Collaboration : Work closely with teams across the business to improve business performance, ensuring financial data aligns with operational goals.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in financial and management accounting roles, with a strong understanding of financial reporting and analysis.
Expertise in SAP Business ByDesign , especially in reporting and financial process optimization.
Experience integrating systems with financial systems to streamline operations and reporting.
Strong proficiency in Excel and financial modeling.
Ability to analyze complex data and provide insights that drive business performance.
Detail-oriented with a strong ability to manage multiple priorities.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills to engage with stakeholders at all levels of the business.
A finance-related degree, with additional SAP certification or relevant experience considered a plus.
