About Us The Bay Building Group is a market leader when it comes to insurance building in Australia.
Operating nationally for 40 years, we specialize in repairs to domestic and commercial properties damaged through insurable events such as fire, storm, flood, impact, and malicious damage.
This National Insurance Builder is looking to appoint a Supervisor to manage jobs in the West, Geelong, and Ballarat areas.
This is an integral role within the business, responsible for the delivery of jobs across both residential and commercial insurance reinstatement projects, including escape of liquid work.
The Supervisor will manage multiple projects that vary in scale and complexity.
Training will be provided, but a valid driver's license and the ability to work in the East Bentleigh office one day a week is essential.
Responsibilities Engaging trades and monitoring progressForecasting monthly revenue according to project completion datesQuality assuranceAdherence to WH&S standardsManaging budgets resulting in the delivery of quality outcomes for clientsWorking with our Procurement team to onboard and manage our subcontractors and suppliersSkills and Experience Proven skills in construction supervision for building repairsExperience working directly with clients, building consultants, and construction-related trades/suppliersThorough understanding of the construction process from concept to handover and WHS requirementsUnderstanding of relevant Building codes and Australian standardsCertificate IV in Building and Construction or trade background (highly desirable)Due to our business being heavily weather-related and linked closely to major insurable events, overtime is occasionally required.
