It has come a long way since then
We first came to Australia in 2008.
Now we have over 45+ clubs nationally with more in construction.
We offer a wide range of services to our members and are so much more than just a weight training gym.
We offer group fitness, and fully stocked Barbell Café and Pro Shop.
World Gym is a leading fitness facility with a state-of-the-art gym, a range of fitness classes, and a dedicated team committed to helping our members achieve their health and wellness goals.
We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Club General Manager to lead our team and ensure the continued success of our club.
Job Description As the Club General Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing various departments within our gym.
You will lead a team of dedicated professionals in the areas of sales, customer service, reception and retail, personal training, and group fitness.
Your ability to inspire and motivate your team, as well as your exceptional problem-solving skills, will be crucial to your success in this role.
Key Responsibilities Team Leadership –Lead and inspire the sales, customer service, reception and retail, personal training, and group fitness teams to achieve their goals and provide excellent service to our members.
Financial Reporting –Manage the club's financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and regular financial reporting.
Ensure the club operates within budget and meets revenue targets.
Club Performance & Monthly Sales Targets –Responsible for aiming to achieve monthly sales targets to ensure that club performance and positive growth is achieved.
Forward Thinking –Stay ahead of industry trends and anticipate changes in the fitness and wellness market.
Develop and implement strategies to keep our gym competitive and attractive to members.
Problem Solving –Address challenges and issues as they arise, making quick and effective decisions to ensure the smooth operation of the club.
Member Satisfaction –Ensure a high level of member satisfaction by maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment, as well as delivering exceptional customer service.
Qualifications Proven experience in a leadership role in the fitness or related industry.
Strong people management and leadership skills.
Competence in financial reporting and budget management.
Excellent problem-solving abilities.
Innovative and forward-thinking mindset.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
