WHAT YOU'LL DO The Director, Delivery is responsible for overseeing and leading teams to deliver project(s) for clients, managing schedules, financials, and project change requests to ensure successful and on-time project delivery.
The Director identifies and addresses potential issues and risks that may impact project deliverables and serves as the point of escalation for project-related activities.
The Director may be expected to work across multiple complex projects simultaneously and will lead and manage the enterprise systems and integrations team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
Oversee and lead teams to deliver project(s) for clients.Meet specific revenue targets within the Services organization.Manage day-to-day project activities and deliverables, including schedules, financials, and project change requests.Make personnel and staffing decisions on behalf of the practice.Assume people management responsibilities, including management of direct reports, conducting performance reviews, and managing underperformance.Identify and develop trusted adviser relationships with project and program stakeholders.Identify and address potential issues and risks impacting project deliverables.Serve as the point of escalation for project-related activities and for the Customer.Report to Services leadership on project results, metrics, and deployment management activities.Manage project scope and changes.Manage the engagement contract and Statement of Work.Set and continually manage project expectations while delegating and managing deliverables with team members and stakeholders.Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, and requirements documentation to various audiences.Contribute IP back to Delivery practice.Mentor project team members.May work across multiple complex projects simultaneously.Perform other related duties as required.WHAT YOU'VE DONE QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS Education and Work Experience:
Bachelor's degree required.Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.Minimum of 12 years' professional experience implementing P&C insurance software applications.Experience managing the performance of others.Experience in successfully leading projects and programs to on-time, on-schedule, and within budget.Experience leading, motivating, and managing various project team sizes.Specialized Knowledge, Skills, and/or Abilities:
Demonstrated experience managing a client.Experience working both independently and in a collaborative environment.Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.Superior skills in Microsoft applications including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.Exceptional organizational skills.Team-building skills with technical and non-technical staff.Flexible with proven ability to conform to shifting priorities through analytical and problem-solving capabilities.Other Requirements: Travel: 0-10%Work Authorization: Legally authorized to work in the country of the job location.WHAT WE STAND FOR Our global company celebrates and leverages the differences each employee brings to the table.
