We offer flexibility, access to quality learning and development opportunities and generous leave provisions, including purchasing leave.Our culture is highly supportive, teams are collaborative, we live our values.Our worksite is a heritage building nestled in Hobart's CBD with a short commute.You will: Use your specialist contemporary research and accounting skills to advise the Government and public sector on financial management.Understand complex issues and find solutions to financial management, accounting, and financial reporting issues.Analyse and interpret accounting and financial management frameworks and advise on current accounting issues.Research, develop and contribute to contemporary financial management policies and practices in the Tasmanian public sector and build networks within Treasury and the public sector community.This opportunity is based in Treasury's Government Finance and Accounting Branch, which monitors and reports on finances at both an agency and whole-of-government level and develops and implements financial management policy advice for the General Government Sector.
