The Executive role will be an active member of the executive leadership team, contributing to the implementation of the strategic direction of the City with accountability and responsibility for leading the effective delivery of governance and Council support, statutory and strategic City planning, place management, health, building and compliance that support effective City development from both a community and regulatory perspective.
The Executive Director of Strategy and Development is the City's Chief City Planner (CCP), and has responsibility for a portfolio of: Corporate Strategy and Governance Development and Design Public Health and Built Environment Urban Design and Strategic Projects You will have a broad range of leadership skills, knowledge and experiences to drive the City's Strategy and Development Directorate and will have formal qualifications in planning.
You will have demonstrated abilities in strategic thinking; analytical skills; people, finance and project management; communication and stakeholder relationship building capabilities.
The City of Vincent will offer a 5-year contract with a competitive remuneration package inclusive of salary, superannuation (including additional contributions of 4%) and motor vehicle allowance in the range of $235,000 to $273,000.
