Executive Director Commercial and Corporate As Executive Director Commercial and Corporate, you will have an opportunity to contribute to one of the largest and most complex infrastructure programs underway in Australia, and one of the few major greenfield port projects in the world.
It is a career defining opportunity.
You will lead essential support and advisory functions critical to the success of the Program across finance, procurement, contract management, legal, asset management, workforce development, digital services, and governance.
You may represent Westport on major Alliance Boards and government committees and will be a key ambassador of Westport's strategic vision.
You will join a dynamic and future focused team, that are committed and united in developing a freight transport system that builds a prosperous and connected Western Australia.
About you Experience leading a multidisciplinary team in a high-profile, politically sensitive environment to deliver complex programs.
Expertise in engaging and managing a wide range of stakeholders, including ministers, local, state, and federal government agencies, communities, industries, unions, and businesses.
Strong competency in program management, including reporting to a steering committee.
Proven ability to negotiate and influence high-profile stakeholder groups.
Demonstrated knowledge and application of governance principles.
Resilience and tenacity to navigate unpredictable events and negotiate solutions within a government context.

This is an SES fixed term contract opportunity for a period of up to five (5) years.
