Graduate Commercial Advisor

The Graduate Commercial Advisor will be involved with:
Conduct market research and analysis to identify business opportunities and potential risksSupport the development and review of commercial agreements and contractsPrepare financial models, business cases, and cost-benefit analysesAssist in commercial negotiations and bid preparationsDevelop presentations and reports for management and stakeholdersMonitor project milestones and deliverables to ensure commercial objectives are metSupport the evaluation of potential partners, suppliers, or acquisition targetsAssist in the development of pricing strategies and commercial frameworksMaintain commercial documentation and databasesContribute to process improvement initiatives within the commercial functionQualificationsQualifications: Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Business, Economics, Finance, or related field
Knowledge, skills and experience Knowledge: Understanding of commercial and contract principlesKnowledge of financial analysis and modellingFamiliarity with relevant industry regulations and practicesUnderstanding of basic project management principlesSkills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilitiesExcellent verbal and written communication skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel and PowerPointAttention to detail and ability to manage multiple prioritiesStrong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environmentExperience: Internship or entry-level experience in commercial, business development, or related fieldExperience with financial modelling and analysisExposure to contract review and negotiationBackground in preparing business cases and presentationsDesired Additional Experience Experience in the energy sectorFamiliarity with commercial management softwarePrevious involvement in tender or bid processesLocation: Melbourne (Australia)
