You'll work alongside a team of exceptional specialists, including creative counsellors, speech therapists, dance and movement therapists, creative arts therapists, social workers, and more.
What You'll Enjoy: Flexible shifts tailored to your availability (contract position).Access to fully equipped, child-centred therapy rooms.Online diary and client management systems.SMS appointment reminders for clients.Marketing, supplies, invoicing, and client paperwork handled for you.Regular group supervision, professional development, and collaboration opportunities.Facilities to design and deliver your own therapy groups, individual sessions, and workshops.Working alongside founders Tony Vallance (Australian Education Awards Teacher of the Year 2019) and Sian Chambers-Vallance (2024 Australian Women's Small Business Champion for Children's Services).What We're Looking For: We're seeking a Psychologist who:
Holds full AHPRA registration as a Psychologist.Has experience in working independently with children (minimum 1 year preferred).Adopts a child-centred, play-based approach, particularly for neurodivergent children and those with trauma histories.Demonstrates a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and problem-solving mindset.Values building strong therapeutic relationships with clients and their families.Current Driver's License and own vehicle.Current Professional Indemnity/Public Liability Insurance.WWCC, Police Check, and NDIS Worker Screening (or willingness to obtain).Location:Building Better Brains, 58 Main Street, Croydon VIC 3136
