The Role
In this newly created role as the HSE Advisor, you'll have the opportunity to shape, develop, and cultivate a new era in safety culture, guided by our unique One HSE Culture Framework.
You'll play a key role in driving the safety culture of our Lineworkers and electrical trades, with a focus on the Distribution sector.
This hands-on, in-field role enables you to directly engage with Lineworkers and electrical trades, offering leadership in HSE practices.
Key Responsibilities
Establish and cultivate a safety culture in alignment with UGL's One HSE Culture Framework Lead and mentor Operational Teams, focusing on best practices for risk mitigation Develop and monitor HSE KPIs, in consultation with Operational Leaders Implement tailored safety programmes and initiatives to meet the needs of the VESI Investigate and report on worksite incidents according to UGL and client procedures Develop and facilitate customised training program for Lineworkers What You'll Need
Diploma in Work Health and Safety (WHS) or equivalent A minimum of 5 years' experience in a high-risk industry, with Electricity Supply Industry (ESI) experience preferred.
Proficiency in MS Office, especially in Excel Exceptional communication skills Cert IV in Training and Assessment is a plus Please note, you will undergo pre-employment screening, which includes a medical assessment.
