Job Description - Senior HSE Advisor (261988)

The Role
In this newly created role as the HSE Advisor, you'll have the opportunity to shape, develop, and cultivate a new era in safety culture, guided by our unique One HSE Culture Framework.
You'll play a key role in driving the safety culture of our Lineworkers and electrical trades, with a focus on the Distribution sector. This hands-on, in-field role enables you to directly engage with Lineworkers and electrical trades, offering leadership in HSE practices.
Key Responsibilities Establish and cultivate a safety culture in alignment with UGL's One HSE Culture FrameworkLead and mentor Operational Teams, focusing on best practices for risk mitigationDevelop and monitor HSE KPIs, in consultation with Operational LeadersImplement tailored safety programmes and initiatives to meet the needs of the VESIInvestigate and report on worksite incidents according to UGL and client proceduresDevelop and facilitate customised training program for LineworkersWhat You'll Need Diploma in Work Health and Safety (WHS) or equivalentA minimum of 5 years' experience in a high-risk industry, with Electricity Supply Industry (ESI) experience preferred.Proficiency in MS Office, especially in ExcelExceptional communication skillsCert IV in Training and Assessment is a plusPlease note, you will undergo pre-employment screening, which includes a medical assessment.
