We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior HSE Advisor to join our team and play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and compliance of our major civil construction projects across Victoria.
As a Senior HSE Advisor at Bild Group, you'll be at the forefront of creating a safe and secure work environment on-site for our Major Projects Division.
Reporting directly to the HSEQ Operations Manager, your role will be crucial in shaping and driving safety standards that meet the expectations of all our stakeholders.
QualificationsHold a Diploma or higher qualification in Occupational Health and Safety.Possess over five years of practical experience in civil construction, particularly on Major Roads projects.Demonstrate your commitment to safety at every level with certifications in Environmental Awareness, First Aid/CPR, and Fire Warden Training.Leverage your keen attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.Be proficient in Microsoft Office and safety management/reporting systems.A valid Driver's Licence is crucial as this role requires traveling to various project sites across Victoria.ResponsibilitiesConduct site inspections, mentor teams, and ensure compliance with OFSC, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 standards.Drive proactive safety culture through best practice implementation and continuous improvement initiatives.Report on HSE performance, manage incident investigations, and oversee corrective actions.Train and develop staff, enhance subcontractor management, and ensure prequalification standards.Support procurement processes to engage compliant subcontractors and maintain site safety records.Why Bild Group?Challenging and dynamic initiativesTransparent avenues for advancementStability in employmentWe offer:Employee Award and Recognition ProgramMonthly team BBQsSocial and welcoming cultureFinancial support for further training and educationCompetitive remuneration and benefits #J-18808-Ljbffr
