We are seeking a skilled 2nd Line of Defence (2LoD) Non-Financial Risk Analyst to support an IT control testing program, on a short term basis, with a leading financial institution.
This role requires a risk-focused professional with hands-on experience in IT control testing and a strong understanding of non-financial risks, particularly in a regulated finance environment.In this role, you will conduct risk assessments, engage in control testing and ensure compliance across IT processes.
This is an opportunity to contribute to a critical project, assess key IT control frameworks and directly impact the company's risk posture.Key responsibilities will include: Performing thorough testing of IT controls, focusing on design and operational effectiveness, in line with the organisation's non-financial risk standards.Working with cross-functional teams to identify and assess potential IT risks, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements.Partnering with stakeholders in the 1st and 2nd lines of defence to validate and refine IT risk controls.Documenting and reporting findings to management, providing actionable insights and recommending improvements to strengthen the risk control environment.The successful applicant will offer:Proven experience in IT control testing, non-financial risk, or compliance within financial services or consulting.Strong analytical skills, with the ability to present findings and recommendations effectively to stakeholders.Strong knowledge of industry standards and frameworks.Clear, concise communication skills, with the ability to work with cross-functional teams and articulate risk concerns effectively.In return you will join a high profile financial institution where you will be able to directly contribute to a critical risk program and work alongside high performing risk and IT professionals, to gain valuable experience within this reputable organisation.
