We are seeking expressions of interest from experienced Mechanical Fitters looking to join our Operations & Maintenance team at the Tindal RAAF Base in NT.
We have multiple roles available.
This is an exciting opportunity to work in the Australian Defence environment to support the national security requirements of the Nation.
The Role Reporting to a Maintenance Supervisor, you will be based at Tindal RAAF Base NT, supporting surrounding locations with occasional regional travel.
Duties will include, but are not limited to:
Perform scheduled maintenance and service of fuel installation assets and equipmentDiagnostics and repair in a breakdown environment of fuel related assets and equipmentProject work as required on the fuel installation and related assets and equipmentSupport subcontracted work packages as requiredSupport various sites in the region, with occasional requirement to travel to various sites throughout NTWhat you Need We expect the successful applicants to have the following:
Trade qualified (mechanical) with relevant post-trade experienceProven experience working in fixed plant maintenance, ideally fuel services or Oil & Gas.Experience working within the defence fuels network or defence industry will be highly regardedConfined space and working at heights tickets will be highly regardedSafety is at the forefront of everything you doCurrently hold, or ability to obtain appropriate Defence Security ClearanceWhat we Offer This is an opportunity to join UGL as a full-time employee, on a long-term contract within the Defence sector.
