The key remit is to strengthen and enhance compliance & operational risk. With a particular lens on sales and marketing processes, your ability to build on a strong risk and regulatory framework through continuous improvement will be key to your success.Reporting to the Director of Legal, key accountabilities include:Lead and upskill the Compliance and Risk Team whilst ensuring the timely completion of all compliance and risk tasks and reporting.Proactively engage with stakeholders and business units to develop a strong compliance and risk culture and develop initiatives to drive continuous improvement.Develop, uplift and embed compliance and risk frameworks across the broader organisation.Facilitate compliance and risk workshops and training sessions.You will bring the following experiences to the role:3+ years' experience in leading, managing and developing compliance teams.5+ years in a Compliance Risk or Audit role.An ability to be both strategic and hands-on in delivering objectives.Extensive experience developing, embedding, and advising on risk/compliance obligations, process, and controls.Uses significant judgement application to business problems.Well-developed interpersonal skills, with an ability to build trust and establish strong relationships.A continuous improvement mindset and demonstrate high levels of initiative.Our Values:Our work environment, our benefits and the way we live our values "We Care", "We Take Action", "We Innovate", "We Inform" and "We do the right thing" make Peninsula a great place to work.What we're proud to offer you:Enhance Leave: we offer up to 23 days in the first year of working with us.
