Gold Coast Health have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Music Therapist to join our newly developed Secure Mental Health Unit and make a positive difference in the lives of others.Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver core Music Therapy clinical services including assessment, treatment and education programsDevelop high quality Music Therapy clinical skills and apply these to clinical practiceWork effectively with staff and patients and their families as indicated by the clinical needs of complex patientsProvide clinical advice and education to, patients and their families, music therapists and other health professionalsQualificationsTo be successful in this position you will require:Recognised degree or post-graduate diploma in Music TherapyProof of professional membership with Australian Music Therapy AssociationBlue card/Working with children check (GCH will cover cost)Evidence of vaccination, or be able to be vaccinated against and remain vaccinated against - Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis and Hepatitis BTuberculosis screening, to identify if the tuberculosis vaccination may be requiredDeclaration of serious discipline history must be disclosedCriminal History Screening will be required for new employees (GCH will cover cost)Benefits of Working with Gold Coast HealthSalary PackagingBrand new facility with modern amenitiesDiverse Work Culture12.75% super17.5% leave loadingPermanent part time (38 hours per fortnight)Base salary ranging from $43.68 - $60.43 per hourHow to ApplyClick APPLY to submit your application by Wednesday, 8 January 2025Gold Coast Health is committed to providing an accessible, inclusive work environment.
