The Lead Engineer is responsible for applying deep technical knowledge and team management skills to ensure the successful delivery and support of KONGSBERGs products.
This role provides leadership to the engineering team within a KDAu program.

Main Tasks: Technical oversight during production, assembly and test of KONGSBERG systems at our production facilities.
Providing technical direction during delivery, installation and trials of KONGSBERG systems at customer sites.
Delivering technical documents, analysis and reports, including trade-off studies; test plans, test reports and reports to customers.
Executing systems engineering functions including requirements management; design development; verification and test planning.
Governance of KONGSBERG supply chain to achieve delivery of technically compliant components and systems.
Leading studies to enhance the ability to implement KONGSBERG systems within Australia.
Establishing effective working relationships with production and technical subject matter experts at KONGSBERG in Norway.
Required Qualifications and Experience Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical or Mechanical).
Tertiary Qualifications in Management (Desirable).
Minimum 5 years' experience with Defence Capability Development and Acquisition Programs.
Leadership experience in Engineering.
Previous experience in the Defence environment is highly desirable.
Must be an Australian citizen and have the ability to obtain and maintain an Australian security clearance.
Must be able to access information controlled under the US International Traffic of Arms Regulations (ITAR).
