Government & Industry Relations Coordinator The Opportunity

We have an exciting opportunity for a Government & Industry Relations Coordinator to join our Corporate Affairs and Sustainability team in Sydney on a permanent full-time basis.
Reporting directly to the General Manager Government & Industry Relations, and working with a team of three Government & Industry Relations Managers, you will be responsible for providing the Government & Industry Relations team support for stakeholder management, including data management and reporting, and research briefs.
Key Responsibilities:
Monitors relevant policy landscape and prepares briefings for team members Manages the Industry and Business Memberships register and assesses requests for new memberships and renewals Provides research assistance to the Government & Industry Relations team on Parliamentary inquiries, representatives with an interest in energy issues and commentary on public policy developments Assists with research, preparation of presentation and briefing materials for Executive stakeholder engagements Supports implementation of the Government & Industry Relations strategy, management of engagement data and reporting Your background:
University degree or equivalent research-based public policy qualification or experience preferred Excellent written and verbal communication skills Experience in a dynamic and fast-paced team environment, in public, private or not-for-profit sector Experience and confidence in liaising with diverse stakeholders Extensive knowledge and experience of working with database management systems Highly developed organisational skills and discipline Working at APA
