A dynamic and innovative Mobility / Transport business is expanding their cutting-edge technology into the APAC region.
With their Operations up and running in New Zealand, they are putting their focus on the Australian market to further expand.
They are seeking a Government Relations Advisor to lead the business in fostering partnerships and navigating regulatory landscapes across Australia.
About the Role:
As our Government Relations Specialist, you'll play a key role in developing and executing our public affairs strategy.
Collaborating with key stakeholders at all levels of government, you'll advocate for policies that support our business objectives, shape market expansion strategies, and position our company as a thought leader in the micromobility sector.
Reporting to the General Manager you will:
Develop and drive government engagement strategies, building relationships with government and community leaders at local, state, and federal levels.
Work closely with the leadership team to shape policy narratives and navigate regulatory environments that impact our business and industry.
Lead outreach efforts with city regulators and stakeholders to support our expansion into new markets.
Craft proposals and strategies to secure new market opportunities and ensure compliance with operating permits.
Monitor legislative and regulatory changes, assess their impact on the business, and ensure our readiness to respond.
Represent the company at relevant conferences and forums to advocate for our vision and solutions in urban mobility.
What We're Looking For:
5+ years of experience in government relations, public affairs, or public policy within the public or private sectors.
A strong network within government and a proven ability to influence policy outcomes.
Excellent communication skills—able to clearly convey complex ideas to diverse audiences.
Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on results.
A strategic thinker with a passion for innovation and sustainability.
Experience in the micromobility or transportation sector is a plus.
