The Canberra Psychology Centre for Children and Families (www.cpccf.com.au) is an established and well-regarded private practice. We provide a wide range of therapy and assessment services to the Canberra community and surrounding areas.
How we workOur team is cohesive and collaborative, ensuring a peaceful work environment. We offer flexible working conditions and create positions to suit individual needs. We provide high levels of sophisticated reception support and practice management, enabling Psychologists to focus on their work. We offer flexible full and part-time, permanent or contract positions.
Graduate ProgramWe offer a year-round structured Graduate Program for Clinical Masters and Doctoral Graduates. This program provides weekly supervision and support through all aspects of the Clinical registrar program, leading to Clinical endorsement status with AHPRA.
Supervision, Training and Professional DevelopmentWe provide formal training, professional development, and supervision in many areas of practice. We offer Board approved supervision on site, regular 1:1 and ad hoc supervision, along with structured fortnightly peer group supervision.
Assessment UnitWithin our team, we have a dedicated assessment unit which provides formal assessments for Autism Spectrum Disorders, ADHD, ID and all Specific Learning Disorders. These assessments are undertaken predominantly with children and adolescents and, to a lesser extent, adults.
Who we are seeking:Psychologists with a passion for the profession and a strong adherence to the Code of Ethics. The ability to operate independently and as part of a team.
