Our skilled consultants are curious, passionate and committed to enabling our customers to efficiently navigate the complexities of cloud adoption by delivering tailored, innovative and reliable solutions.Who are you?As a Principal Data and AI Consultant at Cevo, you'll need a combination of technical skills, strategic thinking, and effective communication.Required Qualifications:7+ years in a hands-on role in the data and technology industryExperience in data architecture and solution design for modern data platformsRecent extensive experience in Data Engineering, stretching into AI and MLPrevious Consulting experience within enterprise environments2+ years' experience in a senior hands-on data engineering role, leading technical teamsYou hold AWS Certifications in:AWS Certified Solutions Architect – ProfessionalAWS Certified Machine Learning – SpecialtyAWS Certified Data Analytics - SpecialtyDesired Skills:AWS Expertise:Proficiency in AWS data, analytics, and AI/ML services such as Amazon S3, Redshift, SageMaker, Glue, Bedrock and Amazon Q.Hands-on experience with designing and implementing large-scale, distributed data platforms and AI/ML models on AWS.Data Engineering and Architecture:Strong background in data engineering, including ETL processes, data warehousing, and data lakes.Experience with data architecture, ensuring data quality, governance, and security.Machine Learning and AI:Knowledge of machine learning frameworks and libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch) and their integration with AWS services.Ability to build, train, and deploy machine learning models on AWS.Business Acumen:Ability to connect data, analytics, and AI solutions to measurable business outcomes.Experience in developing data strategies that align with business goals.Problem-Solving:Strong analytical skills to identify and solve complex data-related problems.Ability to design scalable and cost-effective solutions.Customer Engagement:Excellent communication skills to interact with various stakeholders, including data engineers, data scientists, analysts, and business leaders.Experience in conducting training sessions, deep architectural discussions, and cloud acceleration programs.Thought Leadership:Ability to educate customers on best practices around advanced data, analytics, and AI solutions on AWS.Experience in authoring customer-facing content like whitepapers and blog posts.Presales:Taking a leadership role in presales (EOI, RFI, RFP) activities, presenting solutions to our clients and answering questions in a presales environment.Our Values:Our Values are intrinsic in everything we do:ONE TEAM - Everything we achieve we achieve as ONE TEAMWe're CURIOUSRE-IMAGINE the possiblePEOPLE are the heart of CevoOWN IT & GET IT DONEBenefits:A competitive base salaryCompany perks including a technology allowance of $2,500Strong learning and development culture - $2,000 per year to spend on professional courses + 2 paid days off to attend course and examsThe support of the Cevo hive, helping each other to succeedWe reward and recognize achievementsExciting start-up vibe with enterprise-level projects and clients
