Purpose of the Role: You will be responsible for ensuring that all products sold by Weir Minerals have corresponding production orders and the products are configured to enable the effective and efficient use manufacturing and assembly resources.
Key Responsibilities:
Timely delivery of registered and processed Work Orders Accurate and complete with a 3-day turnaround (based on due dates) Configure the product Bill of Materials using SAP Variant Configurator Number and impact of inaccuracies and non-compliances Configure customized product Bill of Materials using manual configuration Number and impact of inaccuracies and non-compliances Checking all Work Order deliverables and requirements are met.
Complies to Work Order processing checklist Advise Master Data Department of information required for creation Material Masters in SAP for any special parts or parts that require certification.
Incorrect or missing parts shipped to assembly - % errors and/or rework - as reported by assembly shop Configure Routing Operations Raise purchase requisitions for purchased items Manage amendments of Work Orders Accurate and complete with a 2-day turnaround (based on due dates) Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications:
Engineering Degree or qualification 2 - 3 years' experience working in a similar role SAP Experience is essential for this position Experience configuring Bill of Materials Experience reviewing and checking Work Order Deliverables SAP Configuration Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Strong negotiation and influencing skills Intermediate Microsoft Excel User Capability and experience using Microsoft Suite #J-18808-Ljbffr
