Technical Support EngineerAt Dell Technologies, world-class service doesn't end when a customer purchases our innovative products.
Our Technical Support team is there for them whenever they need help – by phone or email, online and on social media.
No matter how complex the challenge, we rise to it.
We answer questions about the installation, operation, configuration, customization and use of Dell Technologies products.
For critical matters, we use our systems to provide remote diagnostic technical support.
If there's an issue with a customer's product, we'll analyze it, identify the cause, recommend a solution and document the problem.Join us to do the best work of your career and make a profound social impact as a Technical Support Engineer on our Technical Support Team in Chatswood.What you'll achieveAs a Technical Support Engineer, you will work with highly skilled technical advisors to develop and deliver solutions that enable customers to maximize returns on IT investments, drive efficiencies and reduce costs.You will:Solve complex problems for customers and be on top of ambitious expectationsPartner closely with customers while communicating proactively regarding overall progress of queriesExhibit first-class customer serviceDrive operational excellence through quality closures and efficient management of issuesHave the opportunity to mentor and coach other team membersTake the first step towards your dream careerEvery Dell Technologies team member brings something unique to the table.
Here's what we are looking for with this role:Essential RequirementsGraduated within the last 12 monthsWorld-class customer service, phone etiquette and work ethicAbility to excel under pressureStrong problem-solving and trouble-shooting skills using operational and diagnostic proceduresDesirable RequirementsKnowledge in any of the technologies, TCP/IP Networking, VMWare, Linux (Red Hat, Ubuntu, or CentOS), Microsoft Server OS, SAN/NAS Solutions, Modular Server SolutionsCertifications, such as: Comptia S+, MCSE, PowerEdge Associate, Network+, CCENT, CCNA or higher, LPI-2 or RHCE, VCA, VCP–DCV, VCP-NV, or equivalentPlease note: applications will only be considered for candidates who have the right to work in Australia without restriction or sponsorship and we will only be considering candidates who have graduated in the last 12 monthsWho we areWe believe that each of us has the power to make an impact.
