Assistant Front Office Manager

Located on the foreshore of Port Hedland, with sweeping views of the Indian Ocean, The Hedland Hotel is the accommodation venue of choice for travellers in the Iron Ore capital of the world, Port Hedland.
The multifaceted Hedland Hotel is currently mid-way through a 1 year $4.5m Palm Springs inspired major redevelopment of all public spaces.
An exciting opportunity is now available at The Hedland Hotel for an Assistant Front Office Manager.
Reporting to the Front Office Manager, this full-time role is responsible for the hotel's front office operations, providing the first point of contact to guests, assisting with all aspects of their stay, including check in, check out, guest inquiries, providing information on facilities and services and associated reception duties.
Key responsibilities include: Managing the front office team and working as part of the wider hotel management team.High degree of front office customer service, providing all guests a warm welcome to the hotel and assisting with all aspects of their stay.Planning with hotel management in relation to reservations, groups, functions, and events bookings.Maintaining accurate guest accounts and accounts receivable.Be conversant in all relevant property, security, emergency, and health and safety procedures.What We Are Looking For: Previous experience in a similar position.Highly effective verbal and written communication skills.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.Experience with CMS Guest Centrix (preferred but not essential).What we offer: Free accommodation during your employment.Attractive salary and staff benefits including food and beverage and room rate discounts across all Prendiville hotels.Career progression and opportunities within Prendiville Group.Please apply with a current resume.
